Ever wonder what would happen if Shakespeare met the Beatles and Led Zeppelin? You’ll just have to come see Analy Arts’ fall production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!! It’s the 400th year since Shakespeare’s death and time to do one of his plays. But the year is not 1595 but 1969, and it’s Athens alright but not Greece, but Ohio! Hermia and Lysander are dropping out and tuning in while Demetrius, being Egeus’ preppy pet, is still vying for her hand. The two young hippie lovers run off to the forest where they encounter the real hippie realm.
