Brewers without all-grain brewing experience can expand to brewing from grain with this class. There are no prerequisites to take the advanced class, just an interest in all-grain brewing. The are two-sessions during which a 10 gallon demonstration batch of beer will be made using a three-tier gravity brewery. Handouts and lectures will cover the theory of mashing, recipe design, infusion mashing, high gravity brewing, water chemistry, kegging and counter-pressure bottle filling. This is a two-session class: session 1 is on 4/16/16 and session 2 is on 4/23/16.
