American Arts and Crafts was a decorative arts movement that developed from the 1880s through 1920. Its style is still popular among woodworkers today because of its emphasis on craftsmanship. Gustav Stickley and Charles and Henry Greene are the best known American masters of this style and time period. Michael Wallace will give a talk on the style and the masters' designs and works, with a focus on furniture. Michael Wallace is a amateur woodworker and would-be historian.
