Expect incredible scenery on the aptly named Vista trail and some narrow and more challenging uphill climbs along Headwaters. This moderate to strenuous hike is 7 miles (6 miles if we decide to turn west on Red Mountain) with an elevation gain of 1700 feet. We’ll be on the trails about 4 to 4 1/2 hours, including rest stops and a lunch break.We will leave promptly at 9:30 am. Drive past the kiosk and park in the main parking lot on the left. Entry fee of $8 ($7 seniors). Please bring plenty of water and a bag lunch.
