In this 2-day class we will combine the expressive art of batik with the beauty of natural indigo, and participants will get to wrap themselves in a weekend of beautiful blues and magical beeswax! The first day of the class will be devoted to learning how to apply wax resists to fabric, and experimenting with various tools and techniques in the process. The second day we will dive into dyeing, with the opportunity to explore the infinite shades of indigo and create multi-layered batik designs.
