Beekeeping: The State of Bees and Why It Matters with Serge Labesque (FREE)

When: Sat., Sept. 29, 1-2:30 p.m. 2018

Join us for an informative lecture by internationally recognized beekeeper Serge Labesque as he shares his thoughts on the current state of bees, those incredibly important insects on which we humans rely to pollinate and produce one-third of the world’s food supply. Beset by many of the same environmental challenges as other species -- habitat loss and degradation, disease, pollution, pesticides, and climate change -- bees and other insect pollinators are presently under incredible stress worldwide.
