Many Rivers Books & Tea and the Tibetan Gallery and Studio are delighted to announce that Masayuki Koga, one of the greatest living shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) masters, along with members of the Japanese Music Institute of America ensemble, will perform in the outstanding acoustics of the Tibetan Gallery on Friday May 16. The performance is offered as a benefit for both the Festival of Conscious Parenting event in Santa Rosa June 20—22, and for theTibetan Gallery. The concert will include both classical Japanese pieces, as well as contemporary pieces by Koga-sensei.
