Bitters and Herbs Workshop

When: Sun., June 22, 1-2:30 p.m. 2014

Learn to embrace the complexity of bitters, long used by the ancients to support the digestive system and overall health. In this class, led by herbalist Nicole Kurmina Gilson, participants will sample a variety of bitter herbs in different forms, try a non-alcoholic sparkling cocktail with bitters, and learn about the basic physiology at work when the bitter flavor is sensed on the tongue. Everyone will leave with recipes and their own one-ounce bottle of a digestive bitter tincture blend.
