Book Launch for Andy Weinberger's "An Old Man's Game"

When: Fri., Nov. 29, 5-7 p.m. 2019

Andy Weinberger, founder and owner of Sonoma’s Readers’ Books, launches his mystery series. The first book, "An Old Man’s Game", is set in L.A., where retired private eye Amos Parisman is hired by the local temple’s board after their controversial rabbi drops dead over his matzoh ball soup at Canter’s Deli. With Amos Parisman, Mr. Weinberger introduces a soft-boiled detective like you’ve never seen before: a retiree who has seen it all--including his wife’s dementia, his own hypertension, and decades on the job. Andy lives in Sonoma and divides his days between overseeing the bookstore and writing his novels.
