Concertmaster Joseph Edelberg and principal violist Elizabeth Prior step out from the orchestra to perform Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante for Violin and Viola; principal cellist Adelle-Akiko Kearns shines in Fauré’s Éégie for Cello. The program concludes with two contrasting works by Sibelius—his mysterious Symphony No. 4, followed by the vibrant and luminous Finlandia.
