This party begins with a fashion show featuring gender-fluid designs presented by local models, and produced using fabric and clothing from local thrift stores repurposed as fashion for either sex. Following the fashion show, there will be an inspiring release of endangered butterflies. We will then dine on a deliciously catered dinner by Worth Our Weight, one of the shows two beneficiaries. Worth Our Weight: "assists young people from 16-24 who have faced major challenges in their lives, including foster care, difficulties with the law, homelessness, and significant family disruption." During the event a silent auction will be held of various art pieces, as well as the clothing from the fashion show. Proceeds will be donated to Worth Our Weight as well as the Monarch Butterfly Conservation Fund. Come dressed in your best for the most riveting after party you've ever attended. Dress in whatever allows you to be your true self! Be it a serious chartreuse suit or a pinkalicious tutu. Dance like it is a 1920's speakeasy; denying modern gender prohibition. Emerge from your Chrysalis, to help others, while enjoying a terribly fabulous night on the town. ♥
