Drawing from Nature: Botanical Art Seminar

When: Sat., March 11, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 2017

Working in graphite, students of all levels of artistic experience will develop skills needed to render natural science subjects accurately and aesthetically. Demonstrations and lessons on measuring, laying gradations of tone, lighting, perspective, and shadows will be given. Students will choose from a variety of plants, bones, shells, or feathers to draw. INSTRUCTOR(S): Lisa Pompelli (Exhibit Designer & Illustrator at Huntington Botanical Gardens)
