Ages: 7 -17 This class explores drawing and painting in black and white using India ink, sepia and ink washes. Black Chinese ink and ink grinding stones are also available. Using a variety of brushes and pens we learn and work with techniques including stippling, cross hatching and line drawing Subject matter will include free form warm up exercises, still lives, working from nature on a small and large scale, abstract and fantasy images. Also, tips for cartooning. Matts are available for finished work.
