Through January 24, 2016 - Upstairs Art Gallery Artist's Reception: Sunday, Jan. 10, 2-5 PM A visual feast for the eyes, contemporary paintings by Carolyn Wilson are rich in texture, line and color. This series of smaller still life paintings celebrate the bevy of fresh fruit and vegetables found at farmers markets, backyard orchards and gardens. Carolyn's ingredients are mostly watercolor and ink, and texture is created with hand-colored tissue papers collaged onto the surface. A love of drawing is evident in the expressive ink lines that are often an integral part of her designs.
