Edible flowers are some of the greatest multi-taskers in the garden; they support pollinators while adding beauty and color, and are delicious and nutritious to boot. Join Homestead Design Collective’s Lead Edible Gardener, Sierra Vasquez, to explore what she’s planted in the MAGC Edible Garden. She’ll discuss her favorite varieties, how she plants strategically to maximize harvest and beauty, and how she likes to utilize edible flowers, from beautiful pressed cheeses and medicinal teas to healing creams and infused vinegars. You’ll help create and imbibe a delicious lavender-infused lemonade.
