Ethnobotany Festival

Celebrating the human use and knowledge of plants and fungi. Come learn from a range of experts on dye plants, making string, distilling essential oils, seaweeds, acorn food, making herbal salve, indigenous plant names and much more. The symposium includes presentations on the future of Tending the Wild, historical botanical collectors in the Pacific West, growing and harvesting edible native seeds, and Spiritual Ethnobotany.
