The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is hosting a free screening of The Bicycle Revolution. The film follows a class of college students who cycle to twelve cities to explore the challenges of creating bicycle-friendly cities, and offers a window into the politics of social change in urban settings. The film explores the issues of bicycle infrastructure, “invisible cyclists,” bike-sharing programs, cyclists’ safety, and bike commuting and provides a guide for citizens to become involved with their city’s bicycle advocacy groups and planning commissions. This screening will be accompanied by a discussion session about cycling issues and policy in Sonoma County.
