When: Fri., April 24, 7-9 p.m. and Sat., April 25, 2-4 p.m. 2015
You'll die laughing at this hilarious parody of King Lear executed in the epic style of a PG-13 rated Game of Thrones thriller. King Lear's iconic daughters appear as Disneyesque princesses, but the copious murders and wicked wit aren't appropriate for young children in award-winning playwright Don Zolidis' dark new comedy. The Game of Tiaras is perfect for middle school students and older audience members who enjoy parodies of Shakespeare or Disney, or who want to support a great cause. Proceeds from this local premiere benefit the programs for at-risk children and their families at Kid Street Learning Center.
Price: Adults $10, Students $6
