During WWII, Santa Rosa and the rest of Sonoma County lost an entire community of Japanese Americans as well as the trust of the Japanese and Italian Americans. Join Press Democrat columnist Gaye LeBaron as she discusses with Marie Sugiyama, Mary Bertolini Dowdall, Bob Bertolini and Janice Morikawa, their or their parents’ experiences and how living as unwanted peoples changed their lives and their communities.
