Historical Lecture: Isidora Filomena, An Indiginous Story

Isidora Filomena, the baptized name of a Wintun woman married to Chief Solano, witnessed dramatic changes with the Spanish and European colonization of California. Kidnapped from her home village in Yolo County, she lived with the Suisun people, was relocated to Mission San Francisco de Solano, and spent her last years at Lachryma Montis with General Vallejo and family. Join April Farnham, Historian and Educator on Thursday, July 27th, 7:00PM – 8:30PM, at Mission San Francisco Solano Chapel. Suggested donation at the Door: $10 General Public; $5.00 SPParks Members.
