When: June 19-22, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. 2017
Students will make bracelets, necklaces, pendants and more. They will enjoy learning how to use jewelers’ tools and tool safety, and will work with copper, brass, stones and mixed materials. There is lots to make in this 4-day camp, with fun projects every day. Projects may include: Alexander Calder mobiles, 5,000-year-old bracelet, Persian Band Bracelet, Back Pack ID Tags and Color Pencil on Metal Pendants. For the experienced and the novice, everyone will learn new jewelry design and metalsmith techniques. Students should wear old clothing and bring a lunch. Healthy nut free snacks provided.
