Kicking off the spring’s performance series, the College Chorale will take the NVC stage with Joseph Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis, universally known as the LORD NELSON MASS. Led by Director Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes, this will be the group’s debut performance of Haydn’s 1798 masterwork, which they will also perform this June at the International Choral Festival in Limerick, Ireland. Guest ensemble, the Eloquence String Quartet, opens show with a performance of the Afro-Caribbean inspired Danzas De Panama by 20th century American composer William Grant Still.
