Please join us for a gathering to reflect on the recent standings of gray whales along our coast. Hosted by poets Elizabeth Herron and Larry Robinson with a grief ceremony facilitated by psychotherapist Francis Weller, known for his work in the healing power of ritual. The goals of the event are to honor the deceased whales, help the community express their grief, and raise awareness of ocean issues. People of all ages and dogs on leash are welcome to attend. Please bring two stones to be used in the ritual, one about fist-size and one smaller.
