Over hot drinks and light snacks and surrounded by Stacey Schuett’s beautiful art exhibit “FAUNA,” we’ll enjoy a brief overview presentation about the Laguna de Santa Rosa, a wetland of International Importance and learn about the Laguna Foundation’s restoration, conservation science, and education work in the watershed. Then we’ll take a leisurely stroll around the Center’s native plant landscape, observing the active bird-life and learning about the fascinating history of historic Stone Farm. Wheelchair accessible, this outing will be partly indoors and partly outdoors, covering less than ¼ mile on compacted dirt paths with plenty of benches along the way.
