Mother's Day Piano Concert at Jack London Park

The Jack London Piano Club celebrates Mother’s Day with a special Spring Concert to benefit Jack London State Historic Park. Featured will be guest artist Jennifer Farmer, a vocal coach from Windsor, who has appeared in stage, film, and on TV. In honor of Mother's Day, Mae Lucas, costumed as composer Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, will present two scenes from her life and play compositions by female composers. Other pianists performing will be John Dinwiddie, Jud Goodrich, Charles Harris, Cynthia Heinrichs, Zina Milyavsky, Esfir Ross, and Jim Wittes. Some anniversary songs will be included along with the classical and popular repertoire.

Price: $20.00 per person. Performance space can be reached by stairway only.
