When: Sun., Aug. 23, 3-4 p.m. 2015
We’ll look at poems and short stories that shake and tremor, shimmy and shudder, from tectonic tanka to quaking quatrains. Bring your own to share with the group: the one you wrote that morning after surveying the damage, or the classic you now tuck under your pillow to save you from the next Big One. (We’ll stick to written works, though we’ll have time to reminisce afterward.) If you haven’t yet consumed your earthquake-stained vintages, bring them, and we’ll pour a little out to St. Andreas and his fault.
