Ranch Readiness raises awareness of the need for special preparation by rural residents when any kind of emergency or disaster strikes. It is the only Bay Area preparedness event that benefits all animals and connects the whole community. The event is sponsored by HALTER (Horse and Livestock Team Emergency Response), a Sonoma County-based grassroots initiative, in partnership with the Sonoma County Department of Health Services. Join farmers & ranchers, firefighters, veterinarians, search & rescue teams, emergency, shelter & facility managers, educators, and your neighbors, for an inspirational and empowering day in Sonoma County.
