The Redwood Stitchers will exhibit a wide variety of members' needlework. At 1 p.m. Kathy Johnson will teach a free class in beginning embroidery. While stitching with floss on a tea towel with a printed design, participants will learn how to begin and end threads, read diagrams and work four basic stitches. Participants should bring scissors. All other supplies will be furnished. Seating is limited. The Redwood Stitchers is a chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, a national non-profit educational organization.
