The New York Times described Silverman’s premiere performance as “fleet agility and tangy expressivity with wailing hints of Jimi Hendrix.” Vocalist and chorus join in for Alexander Nevsky, the Russian film score, for a monumental tale of battles, invasion, liberation and triumph.
