He Ruby Mountain String Band of Mendocino County fame will be playing for us this Saturday. The clear cool Ruby Mountain music will have us dancing like we have magic ruby dance shoes. This little gem of a band is known for their versatility and knowledge of old time and Americana. The Ruby Mountain String band is Cliff Landis (fiddle, banjo); Julia Landis (guitar) and Christina Thompson (fiddle). Local boy Mike Fynan will be our caller. Contra dance is easy and fun.
