Show Up to Support Local & Trained Workers in the Rebuild

When: Tue., Aug. 7, 4:45-8 p.m. 2018

On Tuesday, Santa Rosa City Council will be deciding whether or not to ensure the Housing Bond is building affordable housing with prevailing (standard living) wages and 30% local and trained workers. Low-wage jobs are not going to solve the housing crisis. One of the leading causes of areas that do not recover from natural disasters is creating minimum wage and sub-poverty wages for all the Rebuilding and Recovery jobs created, and bringing in more out-of-area workers putting local residents out of work. Please help us urge City Council to do the right thing.
