An all women’s open mic followed by two rounds of competitive poetry with a nationally recognized poet to perform between rounds. For women, those who have identified as women, and gender queers. Men welcome to attend! Dr. Raina J. León, Cave Canem graduate fellow and member of the Carolina African American Writers Collective, has been published in numerous journals, is a founding editor of The Acentos Review, and is an assistant professor of education at Saint Mary’s College of California.
