The Sonoma Ecology Center will hold six Spring Wildflower Walks at the botanically diverse Van Hoosear Wildflower Preserve. Naturalists will identify a stunning array of wildflower species. The Van Hoosear Wildflower Preserve is managed by the Sonoma Ecology Center and the landowners, and is protected by an easement through the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District (SCAPOSD) and the California Wildlife Conservation Board. This free outing is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the SCAPOSD’s work with a quarter cent sales tax. Spaces fill fast!
