TAMALKO: A CALIFORNIA STORY The Coast Miwok people lived peacefully throughout the shorelines and oak woodlands of southern Sonoma and Marin counties for millennia. However, the arrival of a British ship in 1579, initiated changes to their traditional way of life that picked up devastating momentum in the ensuing 300+ years. Tamalko, A California Story, written and directed by local playwright, Gina Cloud, takes up the tale. Along the way, you visit the past where you will meet Miwok families, Franciscan missionaries, bounty hunters, early settlers, and even Sir Francis Drake himself! Music by the New Bloomfield String Band.

Price: $25 - all proceeds will be donated to the North Bay Fire Relief fund.
