"The Red Violin" with special guests the Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble

When: Tue., March 17, 7:30 p.m. 2015

On March 17, the Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble (NYCE) sets the mood for the Academy Award-winning film "The Red Violin" based on the true story of the 1720 Mendelssohn Red Violin, which vanished not long after its creation -- no one knows where or to whom it belonged for more than 200 years. Proceeds from the viewing -- starring Samuel L. Jackson, directed by François Girard and featuring a cameo by Joshua Bell -- support the Napa Valley Youth Symphony's upcoming Red Gala.
