On hot summer days the cool shady creeks in our Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed are the perfect place for a quick walk or leisurely stroll. They support a dense, multi-story canopy of trees and shrubs that provides shade to hikers and wildlife alike. Join Laguna Foundation staff and Laguna Guides (birders and naturalists), including our Executive Director, Kevin Munroe, for this delightful adventure of a lesser-known shady oasis, Windsor Creek in Windsor. The walk will be approximately three miles long on mostly flat, unpaved and paved trails, and is suitable for adults and older teens.
